Barnaby's cozy burrow was quiet and deep underground.

Little Barnaby bunny stretched his soft, fuzzy ears.

Barnaby: “Good morning, Mama!”

Mama Bunny: “Good morning, my sweet.”

Barnaby: “Can I play outside today?”

He hopped out to the bright, sunny meadow, ready for fun.

Barnaby searched for yummy clover near an old oak tree.

He spotted a very dark, round thing on the mossy ground.

Barnaby: “What is this, a stone?”

He wiggled his curious nose and dug carefully around it.

Underneath, a tiny acorn pulsed with a soft, surprising warm light.

Barnaby: “Oh! It glows so bright!”

Barnaby: “My own special secret.”

He held the glowing acorn gently in his two front paws.

Barnaby: “Where can I hide you?”

Barnaby: “Under this big leaf?”

He tucked it under a crinkly green leaf.

The acorn's soft light peeked right out.

Barnaby: “Still shining! Oh, dear.”

Barnaby bounced to a mossy gray rock.

Barnaby: “Hide here, please, little light!”

But the acorn still shone brightly.

Barnaby: “It just won't hide for me.”

Barnaby ran straight home to Mama Bunny.

Barnaby: “Mama, look at this magic!”

Mama Bunny: “How very special and beautiful!”

Barnaby: “But I can't hide its light.”

Mama Bunny: “Why hide its lovely glow?”

Mama Bunny: “It wants to share its joy.”

The glowing acorn filled their entire burrow with soft, warm light.

Barnaby snuggled down, dreaming of sharing happy, bright glows.
