Lily's bedroom was quiet and dim.

Snuggles the teddy bear waited patiently on Lily's bed.

Snuggles: “Hello, moon!”

Snuggles: “I am awake!”

He slowly wiggled his fuzzy paws and sniffed the air.

Snuggles: “Time to move!”

Snuggles: “Oh, a rumble!”

His tummy made a loud, rumbling sound.

Snuggles: “What do I want?”

Snuggles: “A banana! Yes, banana!”

He tried to sit up tall on the comfy mattress.

Snuggles: “Wobbly, wobbly legs!”

Snuggles slid off the soft bed with a happy bounce.

Snuggles: “Boing! Safe!”

Professor Hoot watched from the bookshelf.

Professor Hoot: “Go slow, little bear.”

Snuggles shuffled his little feet, *pitter-pat, pitter-pat*.

Snuggles: “Pitter-pat, pitter-pat!”

The long, dark hallway appeared very wide.

Snuggles bumped into a bright red toy truck.

Snuggles: “Whoops! Silly truck!”

Snuggles: “Roll past you!”

Professor Hoot: “Almost there, brave bear.”

Snuggles: “Kitchen, here I come!”

Snuggles peeked into the bright, warm kitchen.

Snuggles: “Banana! So yellow!”

He climbed onto a sturdy wooden chair, *clunk-clunk*.

The big yellow banana wobbled, then suddenly fell!

Snuggles: “Oh, clumsy banana!”

He found a tiny, sweet piece of the delicious banana.

Snuggles: “Yummy, yummy treat!”
