Squiggle the Snail and the Speedy Wind
स्क्विगल घोंघा और तेज़ हवा
Squiggle the snail dreams of racing the fast wind, but learns that his own slow, steady pace is special and wonderful.
स्क्विगल घोंघा तेज़ हवा से दौड़ लगाने का सपना देखता है, लेकिन सीखता है कि उसकी अपनी धीमी, स्थिर गति ही ख़ास और अद्भुत है।
The sunny garden was full of tall, green leaves.
Squiggle was a very, very slow snail.
He wiggled his tiny antennae excitedly.
Squiggle: “I want to zoom!”
Squiggle: “Race the fast wind!”
He looked up at the breezy, blue sky.
A big, gusty dandelion field stretched wide.
A strong breeze whooshed past his shell.
Squiggle: “Whoosh! So quick!”
Squiggle took one tiny, slow step.
Squiggle: “Too slow, oh no!”
He sighed a tiny, snail sigh.
Under a giant, friendly red mushroom, Blinky the beetle buzzed.
Blinky landed gently near Squiggle.
Blinky: “Squiggle, what's wrong?”
Squiggle: “Wind is too fast!”
Squiggle: “I cannot catch it!”
Blinky: “Race with me!”
Blinky zipped in a small, quick circle.
Squiggle: “Okay, a small race!”
Squiggle slid forward, very, very slowly.
Blinky: “You are going!”
Blinky flew just a little bit faster.
Squiggle: “Still so slow.”
A dewy, soft petal shimmered with morning light.
Blinky: “You have your own speed.”
Squiggle: “My own special speed?”
Squiggle looked at his shiny, silvery trail.
Squiggle: “Yes! My slow, steady pace!”
Squiggle snuggled under a big, cozy leaf.
He dreamed of slowly, happily racing sleepy clouds.
