Winston, a tiny puppy, loved his cozy home and the big green garden.

He waddled and tumbled.

Winston: “Woof! Playtime!”

Winston loved to chase his own tail, round and round he'd spin.

Winston: “Whee! Dizzy fun!”

Winston: “Fall over! Oomph!”

One sunny morning after a little rain, Winston found something new near the rose bush.

He sniffed curiously at a puddle.

Winston: “So shiny! Wow!”

This was no ordinary puddle; it shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow!

Winston: “Is it good to eat?”

Winston tried to lap the colorful water, but it just wiggled on his tongue.

Winston: “No taste! How odd!”

Suddenly, a little green frog with big, bubbly eyes hopped onto a lily pad nearby.

Ferdinand: “Ribbit! Hello, puppy!”

Winston: “Hello, froggy! Look!”

Winston: “What is this puddle?”

Ferdinand: “That's a rainbow puddle!”

Ferdinand: “Pretty, yes?”

Ferdinand: “Don't drink it, friend!”

Winston: “Why not, froggy?”

Ferdinand: “It's for splashing! Watch!”

Ferdinand demonstrated with a small, happy jump, making the colors dance.

Winston: “Can Winston try too?”

Ferdinand: “Yes! Go, puppy, go!”

Winston tentatively dipped a paw into the sparkling colors.

Winston: “Splash! This is fun!”

Winston: “More colors! Whoopee!”

The garden looked like a party with all the dancing colors, a happy mess!

As the sun set, Winston, tired from his rainbow adventures, snuggled into his soft bed.

He dreamed of colorful puddles and new splashing games.
